⚠ Important Warning

Before You Learn Dynamic Handicapping

A sincere guide, and a friendly warning, for anyone seriously thinking of learning Dynamic Handicapping from Prakash Gosavi.

Thank you for your interest in Dynamic Handicapping (DH). Most people who reach this page have been drawn to DH after following Prakash Gosavi's selections, or after hearing one of his audio clips that went viral and later proved almost prophetic. A few such examples from this Pune season are shared below.

Before you take the next step, we kindly ask you to read this page carefully. It is written to help you, not to discourage you.

What you MUST have: PATIENCE

Dynamic Handicapping rewards those who can wait. The best opportunities do not come in every race, or even on every race day. A true Dynamic Handicapper is willing to sit through many races without betting, waiting calmly for the one spot where everything lines up.

What you can NEVER have: GREED

Greed is the biggest enemy of a DH student, and it usually shows up early.

In the first stage of learning, the system shows so much promise that a student naturally wants to make the most of it. Every horse showing even the slightest hint of improving form starts to look like a bet. It is a classic case of FOMO, the fear of missing out. Excited by a powerful new tool, the student plays with it the way a child plays with a new toy.

What the student has not yet learned is this:

10 : 1

For every 10 horses that hint at an improvement in form, perhaps only 1 actually goes on to win. Often the odds are even longer.

A student who bets on all ten will lose money even while the system is working exactly as it should. That is why DH is a tool for selecting, not for chasing.

About those "prophetic" audio clips

If you were impressed by those clips, we are truly glad. But please understand where the confidence in them comes from.

The near-certainty you hear in Prakash Gosavi's voice comes from his vast experience as the inventor of Dynamic Handicapping, and from more than three decades of practising it. Expecting to reach the same level of expertise very soon would be unrealistic.

Any craft improves when it is practised diligently, and DH is no exception. But please note that moments like these are very rare. Calling a horse dead right, 24 hours before the race, in his usual confident style, is something even Prakash Gosavi cannot do in every race.

Where DH really pays

Even after you have learned DH well and practised it, it may not help you much if you give in to greed, or if you lack the patience to wait for those rare spots. Those are the moments for your biggest bet, the one you can place with blind confidence.

Patience to wait for the right spot, and the discipline to ignore the rest: that, more than anything else, is what makes a Dynamic Handicapper.

Our sincere request

Please do your due diligence. Ask yourself honestly whether you have the patience DH demands, and whether you can keep greed out of your betting. If the answer is yes, we will be delighted to welcome you, and then please go ahead and enrol for the DH course.
