Thalassa may focus on exploiting weight advantage
The Threptin Fillies' & Mares' Stakes (Gr 3) is the feature event of Saturday's seven-race card. All eyes will be on Psychic Star who resumed her winning ways in style nearly two months ago; however, jockey A Sandesh astride Thalassa, who made a blunder in last start by staying too far back despite the leisurely pace of the St Leger, is expected to be more mindful of the pace, and with the 8-kg advantage at the scales, may prove a thorn in Psychic Star's side.
First race at 1 pm.
